Dooly's 2009 Coors Light 8 Ball Fun League Nationals were held in Moncton, NB on Friday April 24th & Saturday April 25th. The top teams from leagues across Atlantic Canada as well as from Saskatchewan, took part in a full day tournament to determine the 2008-2009 Champions.This year’s event began on Friday evening with a welcome reception at Dooly's Mountain Road, Moncton. Players enjoyed a buffet supper and got in a few hours of practice play. The Dan Wilson band entertained the crowd with live music and at one point invited Mountain Road’s manager Drew Lapointe, to join in on drums. Saturday's tournament began early. Throughout the day, comments were made about the high caliber of play and also the sportsmanlike conduct of all teams involved. In the end, the team from Topsail Road, St. John's, NL won the 1st place position, with 2nd place going to the hometown team from Mountain Road, Moncton. Swift Current, Saskatchewan took 3rd place and Lower Sackville, NS came in 4th place. Dooly's would like to thank everyone involved as well as all participating teams, for making this year's tournament such a success. A great time was had by all.
